Zoomers are the primary mode of transportation in Haven City. They are diverse in size and color, and are virtually everywhere in the city. They are essentially hovering cars, equipped with steering jets and headlights for easier use.

HistoryEdit

The Precursor LegacyEdit

The predecessor to modern zoomers is the comparatively primitive A-Grav Zoomer, built by Keira Hagai in Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy. It is unknown if there were any other zoomers during this era, however this is unlikely given the A-Grav Zoomer's status as a "prototype."

Jak IIEdit

In Jak II, zoomers have proliferated into Haven City's preferred method of transportation. They are utilized as citizen vehicles (see: Flyers, Cruisers), in races (see: NYFE Racers), and as the Krimzon Guard's patrol vehicles (see: HellCat Cruisers, Hellcat Zoomers).

Jak 3Edit

The zoomers return, and are the same as they were before.

Scooters (as seen in Daxter) are another permutation of zoomer technology, however only the one is seen.

CitizenEdit

Civilian-grade zoomers are widely varied. Slim one-person zoomers are fast and maneuverable but rather weak, blowing up after a solid collision with a wall or obstacle. Larger models - specifically, Cruisers and Flyers - are less fragile, with the largest Flyers able to take considerable damage while remaining operational, but this durability comes at the expense of speed and agility.

Krimzon GuardEdit

There are two Krimzon Guard vehicle models, HellCat Cruisers and Hellcat Zoomers. The standard color for these zoomers is red, with the exception of the yellow Elite HellCat Cruisers. All types of Krimzon Guard zoomers come with integrated weaponry.

RacingEdit

As Haven City's most popular sport, NYFE racing employs specialized NYFE Racers. These low-built, long-bodied vehicles function comparably to citizen zoomers, and are likely faster. However, comparison to other models is difficult since they are only available on the racetrack.
