(Young) Samos Hagai, also know as The Shadow, is the leader of The Underground and later becomes the Green Eco Sage in Jak II.

[edit] Pre-Jak II
Young Samos' events are pretty much a mystery, aside from a short explanation about the Sacred Site by Torn. According to Torn the Metal Heads broke through the city wall. Baron Praxis retreated leaving everyone outside to die, however, the Young Samos apparently managed to defeat the Metal heads somehow. Supposedly this was done by the use of the Life Seed or something else the old Samos left at his home.
[edit] During Jak II
During Jak II Young Samos is known as The Shadow, while he is only behind the scenes for the first Act, he reveals himself at the start of Act II. He says Haven Forest is the source of his power, and sends Jak to protect it. After that he orders Jak to escort The Kid. Later, when Jak enters Mar's Tomb he, Kor and Keira are captured by the Krimzon Guard. Jak rescues all of them later and also the old Samos.
Later the old Samos tells Jak to go get the Life Seed which allows young Samos to gain his full Green Eco powers. Eventually upon the defeat of Metal Kor, young Samos and the Kid travel back in time.
[edit] Pre-The Precursor Legacy
Samos hides the Rift Rider and Rift Gate on top of Gol and Maia's Citadel and establishes a home in Sandover Village. Here he studies the Precursors and also gains a daughter, Keira.

Young Samos is very much like his older self, wise and dismissive. He begins insulting Daxter mere moments after meeting him. It is worth pointing out he does not get along with his older self.

Samos wears almost the same clothes as the old Samos, except more modern.
[edit] Abilities
His abilities are relatively unknown, while it's likely he has some simple (Green Eco?) powers, it's never revealed to what extent. However, using the Life seed he's able to fully gain the powers to become a Sage of Green Eco.
[edit] Equipment
The young Samos doesn't wear any weapons, armor or any other kind of equipment.
