Yakow

The Yakow is a fusion between a Cow and a Yak. It has a massive size to it with yellow skin and big brown manes. It has huge horns and lives in packs. In Jak II, they have small metal counterparts on their legs. These beasts are rather lazy and well tempered, as Jak can punch one multiple times, but it will simply ignore him.

UsesEdit

The Yakows, like any modern day cow, are used to provide milk and meat for humans. However, it is unknown if any other parts of the Yakow are used such as the horns. Daxter does mention a Yakow bone and bladder during Jak II, so it is possible that their bones and bladders are used somehow.

LocationsEdit

These creatures, despite their supposed commonality are not seen very often.

• Farmer had a total of five Yakows in Sandover Village. Lurkers attempted to steal them as they were outside their pens, however; there were no signs of Lurkers getting any. Jak eventually herds the group back into the pen to earn a Power Cell.

• There are also two groups in the Gardens (both North and South). Though it is unlikely that the entirety of Haven City feeds from these few Yakows.

NotesEdit

• Yakows are for some reason, entirely invincible. Not even the power of Giant Dark Jak can kill them.

GlitchesEdit

• During the Metal Heads invasion of Haven City, Guards would attack the Yakows for no reason.
