History
Edit
Jak II
Edit
The Wasteland is often referred to in Jak II although the only location actually visited is the Metal Head Nest. It is unknown how far the wasteland itself spreads and if it is only about the barren land or all the land outside the walls.
Jak 3
Edit
Jak was banished to the Wasteland by Count Veger, with Ashelin Praxis telling Veger he was making a grave mistake. Jak had to stay banished, with no way to return to Haven, and only Daxter and Pecker stayed with him to fight. After not long, they fainted of lack of water, and were picked up by Damas and Kleiver, and taken to Spargus.
Many of the missions Jak did for Spargus took place out in the Wasteland; Jak raced Kleiver as a challenge in Beat Kleiver in Desert Race, raced to find artifacts twice, destroyed large Metal Heads, went to a volcano with the Precursor Monks, and defended Ashelin out in the desert when she came after Jak, before he was able to return to Haven City. After that, he returned, and participated in more missions; chased more Metal Heads, raced for more artifacts and took out a Marauder stronghold. The final battle - Destroy final boss mission - took place in the Wasteland.
Jak X: Combat Racing
Edit
The Wasteland featured many race tracks in Jak X: Combat Racing.

Overview
Edit
A massive desert island, plagued by enormous Metal Heads, roaming bands of Marauders and massive sand storms. It is centered around the Great Volcano and it's accompanying mountain range. Most prominent, aside from the volcano is the Spargus Palace, towering over the city of Spargus. The city itself is situated in the northern end along the coast, cut off from the wasteland by a huge wall.
Outside the city is a race track, used by the cities inhabitants for buggy races. Moving south lies a large river, flowing from a heavy waterfall. Several broken bridges loom over the river and the area is filled with cacti. Further south lie abandoned ruins, the remains of a small town. It is unknown what happened to it, notable is that it is located right next to the Metal Head Cave.
Moving further south, along the coast lies a series of small islands leading to the Monk Temple. To the west, in the middle of the southern side is a medium-sized lake, surrounded by mountains forming some sort of bay. In the middle of the lake live the Marauders in their stronghold, cut off from the desert by retractable bridges.
Moving past the mountains onto the east side one passes the oasis, a small lake surrounded by palm trees. Further north, following the eastern coast one encounters multiple large sand dunes and some more broken bridges. A little further north grow many pine trees and moving on leads back to Spargus' walls.
