This is an announcement, marking the official start to a new series of blogs written by me and Light Daxter (and possibly the super-classy Jakraziel), in/appropriately titled Developer's Blogs. The previous Developer's Blog written by me can be found here.
So what is this series about? It's basically our newfound method of communicating with you guys, letting you know about our current projects, future projects, behind-the-scenes business (footage of LD mastu) and other exciting/interesting/boring/fascinating stuff. We (LD and Jakraziel) may also talk about the history of the wiki and other stuff.
One of the main reasons behind the series, to me, is documentation. I'm a fan of the past, and I'm a fan of change. I like seeing change, but I also love seeing how things have changed; how the change has benefitted, what else can be changed, and so on. Seeing how things used to be, using the past to better ourselves, blah blah blah, I could go on but it'd just bore everyone to death.
But an even bigger reason is to hear your feedback. After all, you guys are a large part of this wiki, and we've got this far with your outstanding help. So as we progressively try to make editing easier for you guys, we want to hear how you're dealing with it and what could be improved, we just want to hear your thoughts on things. Cause we love you guys so very much.
So that's the gist of it. This is a semi-regular series, in that it is going to be continued, but nobody knows when continuations are going to be posted.
Look out for the next edition soon.
