The support towers are a minor location in Jak II. Towering over Haven City, they are responsible for supporting Haven Palace. The actual cables between the tower and palace are heavily defended with various automatic defenses.

History
Edit
Daxter
Edit
Support Towers were not really featured in Daxter, but were seen in a cutscene before Daxter went into the Krimzon Guard Fortress to free Jak.
Jak II
Edit
In Jak II, Jak and Daxter rode an elevator on a Support Tower and climbed across its cable in order to reach Baron Praxis and spy on him.

During the intro of Jak 3, when the palace collapses, you can see the towers falling as well. Some of the ruins of the fallen towers can still be seen during the game, most notably at the Port and Palace Ruins.
Geography

Overview
Edit
Support Towers were massive structures used to support Haven Palace. All but one were inaccessible due to their odd location. They were out of power at first, but Vin managed to activate the old B-Zone Power Grid and Jak and Daxter did the rest by switching the power boxes. The actual bridge is guarded by a multitude of defenses, including Sweeper Turrets. Although Jak can only access one, it could be possible that the other support towers can get you to the top of the palace considering they have the same security that the one Jak uses.
Construction
Edit
As supports that must have been built shortly before the Palace, they were the second largest structures in Haven City.
Locations of towers
Edit
In Jak 3, it is visible that some of the support cables (pipes) were on top of buildings due to the palace falling. Some of the places where the cables are visible are in the Port and the Industrial area (KG territory). Strangely, one of the Palace support towers from Jak II can be seen sitting outside the city wall in the Metal Head Wasteland when viewing from the single support tower leading to the Palace. Nobody knows if this was a mistake or if it was meant to be there.
Precursor Orbs
Edit
The support tower traversed in the mission Ride elevator up to Palace holds three Precursor orbs. A fourth one can be gained before leaving the palace following the first boss battle against Baron Praxis.
