The Spargus Gun Turret is a very advanced massive gun turret meant to protect Spargus from any harm or sometimes used for target practice.

About the Gun Turret

It is so far unknown about who exactly built the Gun Turret. One could argue that Damas built the Turret when the rest of Spargus was being built, or that it was another Wastelander who built it, but nothing is known for certain. Keeping with the rest of the weaponry in the Jak universe, the Spargus Gun Turret uses Yellow Eco for its ammunition, though where the get the supply is unknown as there are no obvious vents or alternative sources of Yellow Eco in the Wastelands. Although the eco source may be built into the gun itself suchas an eco crystal or a pipeline leading to the base of the gun.
Jak 3 Edit
There are two missions in Jak 3 that revolve around the Gun Turret. The first is received from Kleiver in the form of a challenge; if the player beats Kleivers' highscore on the Gun Turret, they will obtain a Light Eco crystal as a reward. Up until this point Kleiver had been the "top dog" of the Gun Turret, a title passed onto Jak upon beating his highscore. This mission then turns into a mini-game where the player can shoot flying discs to their hearts content as they repeatedly try to top their own highscore.
The second mission is in Act III, during the attack on Spargus by the Dark Makers. Jak must man the Turret and defend Spargus against the Dark Makers, who continually attack him and the Gun Turret during this mission. Once the Dark Makers have been successfully repelled, Jak climbs out of the Turret to be greeted by Damas and Kleiver at the bottom. Damas congratulates Jak on the victory and reveals that he was the leader of Haven City, much to Duos' surprise. After this revelation, Jak is presented with his final Battle Amulet and Mar's Chest Armor. Damas had been saving the armor for his son but had decided that Jak "should wear it in this difficult time."
The Defence of Spargus Edit
During Act III of Jak 3, Spargus is attacked by Dark Maker Walkers. Jak must defend the city from attack! After the battle, Jak is awarded Chest Armor by Damas. That he was saving for his son Mar (Jak)
MinigameEdit
The Spargus Turret Game involves target practice where you have to hit enough targets to reach a certain score limit and earn Precursor Orbs.
