Ratchet is the main protagonist of the Ratchet & Clank series and a Lombax. Ratchet starts out as just a mechanic longing for adventure. But soon enough his life changes when he meets the diminutive robot fugitive named Clank, from there on the adventure picks up pace.

Ratchet and Clank appear on Haven City billboards wearing the Commando Suit from Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando.
Jak 3 Edit
Ratchet and Clank are an unlockable gun course for 15 Precursor Orbs. Instead of DeathBots they were replaced with Tyhrranoids and the innocent civilians were Ratchet and Clank.
Jak X Edit
Ratchet is available as an unlockable character in Jak X. To unlock Ratchet, you must have a save file from Ratchet: Gladiator (Ratchet: Deadlocked) on your Memory Card. A pendant with a design of Clank's head is also available from the Secrets Menu.
PlayStation Move HeroesEdit
Ratchet is a playable character in PlayStation Move Heroes alongside Sly Cooper from the Sly Cooper series and Jak. He uses his Omniwrench as his melee weapon. Ratchet also has an energy whip (similar to the Plasma Whip in Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal) which he uses in certain challenges, as well as a bowling ball weapon.
Ratchet appears in his body suit from Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, and it is possible that Ratchet and Clank were picked up by Gleeber and Lunk during the early stages of Emperor Tachyon's invasion of Metropolis to locate and destroy Ratchet.
In the starting cutscene, Ratchet and Clank are trying to destroy an Enforcer (which does not have a Drophyd pilot) in Metropolis. Ratchet strikes the knee joint of the Enforcer with his wrench, which causes a chain reaction and stops the Enforcer. The chain reaction does not occur until Ratchet and Clank return to Metropolis, when the Enforcer nearly steps on Ratchet.
PlayStation All-Stars Battle RoyaleEdit
Ratchet is Jak's rival in this game. During Jak's story he encounters Ratchet and the two engage in battle after a short argument.
Trivia Edit
- In Ratchet: Deadlocked, Jak is available as an unlockable character in cooperative play mode.
