The Quicksand Lurker is a Lurker that live in the various mud pools at Misty Island. They are purple colored and also wear the typical diaper-like clothes. They attack by spitting (Dark Eco?) balls and will retreat under the mud once you come to close.
Either attack them by using the Dive Attack if you're quick enough or use Blue Eco to make it easier.
