Protect Kor and Kid is the second mission in Jak II. After having escaped the fortress, Jak and Daxter encountered Kor and a child, right before being put under arrest by a squadron of guards for suspicion of harboring Underground fugitives. Kor asked Jak to protect him and the Kid, which in turn he would introduce them to someone who can help them.
Completion of this mission in the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and PlayStation 4 versions of Jak II will unlock the bronze trophy Poor Kid.
Walkthrough[]
Immediately after the cutscene, you'll want to attack and take down the three guards standing in front of you. Right after, you'll be forcefully transformed into Dark Jak, introducing you to this new gameplay element. The Krimzon Guard immediately arrive in force when another batch of guards jump out of an air train. They can be destroyed easily with Dark Jak and by doing so, ends this short mission.
Behind the scenes[]
The mission was included in the July 13, 2003 preview build for Jak II; the "mission failed" screen can be triggered much quicker in this version by allowing the guards arrest Kor.[1]
