Precursor Robot

They are giant robots that resemble large humanoids with anteater-like noses and large eyes. They were built with Precursor Technology long ago.

There were a few robots located in TPL. They were embedded into large mountains or into the rocks. The robot in Gol and Maia's Citadel was fought as a boss.
They could be found at;
- Geyser Rock (2)

Jak and Daxter fight a Precursor Robot summoned by Count Veger. It fired red lasers and summoned Dark Maker underlings that reform like ameboids in Ratchet and Clank. When it fired large beams, these made pillars to allow Jak to snipe the 3 bomb trains conveniently located over the robot.

[edit] Uses
According to Gol and Maia: the robots are the only things capable of opening the Dark Eco Silos. So it is possible that the Precursors used them to harness the Dark Eco long ago. It is also possible the precursors could not control dark eco entirely. However, if they could control it; there would be no Dark Makers. Gol and Maia constructed their own modified bot, using various metallic spare parts to open the silo but it was destroyed by Jak using Light Eco.
