Pecker is a Spanish-accented Moncaw (half monkey, half macaw) who served as an interpreter for Onin. He has little regard for Onin's words, often twisting them to his preference and drawing conclusions in a disrespectful manner. He and Daxter have a rivalry from their very first meeting, often fighting and yelling obscenities at each another. In Jak II, he is simply Onin's interpreter, but in Jak 3, he joins Jak and Daxter out in the Wasteland and briefly becomes Damas' adviser before returning to Onin in Haven City.

History Edit

Jak IIEdit

After Ashelin gave Jak and Daxter a Security Pass to enter the East Bazaar, they sought out Onin and in doing so, they met Pecker in her tent. Pecker is quick to snap at Daxter, due to Daxter's mistake in thinking Pecker was a dead moncaw, and poking him. Pecker interprets that Onin wants Jak to bring three artifacts back to her. he continues to advise Jak and Daxter on missions from Onin all the while developing a rivalry with Daxter and the two typically get in fights off and on.

After Jak finds all three relics from the Mountain Temple, he congratulates them and says that Onin will discover the truth behind the relics. After the death of Metal Kor, Pecker and Daxter finally have a fight and is eventually broken up by Sig.

Jak 3 Edit

Pecker is a short term adviser for Damas in Spargus during the arena matches. Later in the game he returns to Onin as her interpreter and sets them to travel through the Catacomb subrails. At this point, him and Daxter are still arguing with eachother and there is still rivalry going on between them.

Jak X Edit

In Jak X: Combat Racing, Pecker becomes a co-presenter on the Kras City Racing Championship with G.T. Blitz. GT often gets annoyed at Pecker and sometimes curses or strangles him. Pecker is also researching the big 'underground' bet, and this makes GT mad, since he is actually Mizo, and he is the one running the underground bet. Pecker is also unlockable to be a character in Jak X: Combat Racing, being 118 years old.

Trivia Edit

• It is possible that Pecker has telepathic abilities, seeing as he could tell what Onin was saying while he was in the Wasteland and Onin was still in Haven City in Jak 3
• Pecker can usually found perched on the shoulder of the region's hierarchy. This can mean that he interprets himself to be royalty.
• The credits of Jak X: Combat Racing briefly show Pecker flying around a red and orange Firebat. This may be his preferred car.
• In PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, Daxter says Pecker's name during a taunt, specifically, "Even Pecker could take him!" This further expands the meaning of their rivalry.
