The Mother spider is a common variety in Spider Cave. They attack by dropping from the ceiling, hanging onto their silk wires they would spit (Dark Eco?) blobs at Jak. They can only be attacked by a Spin Jump, Uppercut or Yellow Eco. Using the Spin Jump attack would kick them away, making the fight far more difficult, as each time it'll be swinging around faster and faster. Each it would only remove a pair of legs, making it a tough fight. Sometimes it'll lay three Spider Hatchling Eggs. These will then attack Jak too.
The best way to defeat them is to crouch, then use an Uppercut.
