Metal Bugs are a sub group of Metal Heads in Daxter. Their leader is Kaeden, who disguises himself as a human in order to shut down the Extermination Companies to weaken Haven City. Typically the Bugs were used as a first method to infiltrate Haven City and let the Metal Heads commence the invasion.

History

DaxterEdit
In Daxter (game), the Metal Bugs were attacking Haven City, and would cause infestations in parts of the city. The Kridder Ridder Extermination Company, who employed Daxter, would fight them and remove infestations in many areas.
OverviewEdit
CharacteristicsEdit
The Metal Bugs share the same characteristics as their Metal Head brethren; 2 or 4 glowing yellow eyes and a Skull Gem in their forehead or, rarely, their chest. They are, however, much smaller than Metal Heads.
SocietyEdit
Like Metal Heads, little is known about their social structure, or whether they even have one. They have never been seen attacking each other, and don't seem to differentiate one member of their species from another. Metal Bugs' only real action is to cause infestations in certain areas, and for what purpose besides to attack the city is unknown.
HabitatEdit
Metal Bugs make their homes in small areas that they will infest in. It is presumed they live and come from the Metal Head Nest.
MilitaryEdit
The Metal Bugs attack in various forms, but their only military seems to be defending the locations they have began to infest in. They didn't have any particular weapons, besides small saw blades and electricity.
