Metal-Pedes are huge Metal Head arthropods that clearly thrive in dark cold conditions, like in the Metal Head Nest and the Underport, where they grow even larger in size (only one of the larger species is ever seen). They like nothing better than burrowing in the dirt. Sig, Daxter and Jak take the Gila Stomper to hunt the Metal-Pedes for the Eco crystal in Jak 3. In Jak II, when Jak, Daxter and Sig were trying to flee from the Underport they were attacked by a Metal-Pede and began running away from it. The chase ended with the Metal-Pede falling into a pit. But soon after they were attacked by it again and they again had to run away from it. When they thougt they had lost the Metal-Pede, it soon appeared again and attacked Sig. He was thought to have been swallowed alive by the Metal-Pede, but he later appeared in the Hip Hog Heaven Saloon, proving that he was still alive and had defeated the Metal-pede.

AttacksEdit

This massive creature uses its weight as its primary attack. It can easily crush smaller cars, destroy bridges and smash into its victims. In the Nest, they could also fire blasts from a Blaster mounted somewhere on their heads.
