Mayor Manac, or simply 'the Mayor', is the mayor of Sandover Village. He often stutters and is constantly nervous. Manac asked for Jak and Daxter's assistance in the Forbidden Jungle, and also requested they bring him a donation of 90 Precursor Orbs for his re-election campaign. For their efforts, he rewarded them with two Power Cells.

He is also the owner of the Blue Eco powered windmill. Though its purpose is unknown, it's possible he used it to make bread from grain and wheat.

- After Jak and Daxter's first adventure Mayor Manac ran an unsuccessful campaign to become regional governor, but was beaten in a landslide by a popular body building movie star. After his defeat, Mayor Manac retired to a cozy home overlooking Fire Canyon spending his remaining days speaking at bipolar disorder conventions and writing his memoirs, It Takes A Village Idiot, detailing his many years as a buffoon do-nothing politician.
