History

Jak 3
Edit
Jak and Daxter were tasked by Ashelin Praxis to destroy the Factory. After cracking the cypher key out of the network via the power station they used a HellCat Cruiser to fly up to the fortress. In the Cruiser, they destroyed the Factory's defences, and then Jak entered with Daxter and headed up to the Commander Centre, and met Cyber Errol. The two defeated him, but he managed to escape.
Geography

Overview
Edit
The factory is a floating platform with several small building and tracks for defensive tanks. It is obviously equipped with some form of anti-gravity device, presumably generated by the downward extending unipod below the main platform. On one side there are three small hangers that launch fighters, and there are four towers equipped with laser turrets and large energy weapons. An endless supply of tanks moves along the tracks built across the outside.
Interior
Edit
The interior is poorly thought out, with a large part of the area devoid of flooring for anyone to fall through to the city below. It possesses surprisingly little factory-related machinery beyond some conveyor belts and a few domes that sprout new KG Hover Bots.
Cyber Errol has a command center in the main tower of the construct, equipped with death-bot controls, a portal to the Dark Maker Ship, and, like every other area in the game, bottomless pits.

From this place, the Palace Ruins, Strip Mine, Mountain Temple, and Pumping Station can be seen, as it is so high up. The Factory is found above the fortress.
