"You are alone, Jak."

And just like that, a voice echoed - and yet whispered - out of nowhere. Lying on a couch, trying to get some sleep (after all, if there's one thing he lacks, it's sleep), Jak's eyes turned from blissfully unaware to a state of determination - his eyes blazing, he slowly stood up and reached for his Gunstaff.

"Where are you?"

Jak questioned the voice, not expecting a reply. He drew the curtains, revealing the view of the Haven Port. He saw Daxter there, handing out fliers for the Naughty Ottsel. Still focusing on the voice, he quietly searched around.

"There's no use trying to harm me, Jak...I cannot harm you either. Put down your weapon..."

Jak's face now held a look of confusion. The voice seemed to echo throughout the whole room. A woman's voice. An ominous voice. The source of the voice was not obvious; perhaps it wasn't in the room at all...
