Protect hideout from bombots was a mission in Jak II. The Underground got word that three three Krimzon bombots were heading for the hideout. Both the young Samos Hagai and old Samos Hagai requested Jak to destroy them.
Completion of this mission in the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and PlayStation 4 versions of Jak II will unlock the bronze trophy Bot bot boom Boom.

Technically, a timed mission without a timer, as you'll lose the moment a blast bot reaches the hideout. There's three total spread around the Industrial Section and the Slums. Use the map to determine which is closest and head for that one, but not before you picked up the lots of Vulcan Fury ammunition from the crates near the hideout. Blast bots have a powerful mid range laser, with which they will shoot all zoomers (and enemy) nearby, so quickly close the distance with a fast zoomer or by roll jumping. It is worth mentioning that these bombots are notoriously slow in their movements. It is recommended to take care of the two in the Industrial Section first before taking out the bombot in the Slums, as that one has a long distance to travel while the Industrial Section is closer.
To actually destroy one, use either the Vulcan Fury or the Blaster's wastelander moves (preferably punch plus rapid fire combo) from between its legs where it can't shoot back. The Peace Maker and Scatter Gun aren't of much use here, but feel free to use these to take care of any Krimzon Guard who will be chasing you as well. Lastly, the blast bot explodes when it has taken too much damage, accompanied by a loud beeping noise, so it is important to get clear before it does so.
