Break barrier with blast bot is a mission in Jak 3. Jinx managed to capture a blast bot and hook it up with a remote control system, as well as more explosives than the standard package. Torn asked Jak to use the remote to direct it through the Industrial Section and blow up the last barrier blocking the way from the Port to the New Haven district.
Completion of this mission in the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and PlayStation 4 versions of Jak 3 will unlock the bronze trophy Blam!.
Walkthrough[]
You have to move the blast bot through the entire Industrial Section while you are being plagued by numerous spydroids, sentinels, and roboguards, as well as several other blast bots. Soldiers will also be out in force here and will take care of most of the small enemies, so just barrel through most of these while spamming the fire button (
). The gun auto-aims for you and fires pretty fast too.
The blast bot has a lot of armor and health so it can take a beating, but the way is long and if you don't keep a tab on the many small enemies, you will lose health. The real danger is from other blast bots; take these down before they can get their gun locked on to you. Once you get close enough to the barrier, the blast bot automatically blows it up, completing the mission.
