The Eco Power Sphere is a Precursor Artifact in Jak 3.
Design

A sphere with four slots, each allows one Dark and one Light Eco Crystal, making it eight total.
RoleEdit
A missing component of the Planetary Defence System when completed with Eco Crystals and put in place it activates the system, however it requires time to transfer power. It is not quite know were Jak acquired it from as he had it when he entered the catacombs, which give the possibility it was on the defence platform and Jak simply connected the crystals and placed it in the power port. As Seem said the forces light and dark form great energies it would seem that when 8 are brought together they form incredible power in the sphere.
