The Dig Site is a major location outside Haven City, located next to the Weapons Factory It can only be reached using either a Transport or the Jet Board via the Pumping Station.
At first it was used as an immense digging site occupied by Krimson Guard's Grenade Troopers and various explosives. In the center of the enormous site was an even larger drill attached to metal platforms around by tethers to keep it stable. However, using a jetboard, Jak made short work of the tethers and the Drill lost its needed stability causing it to explode in one destructive burst.
Later in time, the Lurkers found a home in what was left of the Dig Site to escape enslavement by the humans; using the sewer tunnels found all around the city to escape secretly back to their hideaway home. However, Metal Heads infested the Lurker Village in time, requiring Jak to save it; earning another piece of the amulet in the process.
