Defeat Veger's Precursor robot is a mission in Jak 3. Veger attempted to kill Jak to stop him from entering Haven City, to do so he activated an ancient Precursor robot.
The PlayStation 3 and Vita versions of this mission are related to a trophy named "Bossing the Bot Boss", completing this mission will reward you with a silver trophy.
Walkthrough
Phase 1
As soon as the mission starts, the robot will use it's laser sword to create shockwaves on the ground, jump over there and then do the same when he moves the sword from left to right. After this it launches two dark splitters, easy targets for the Wave Concussor while they are still folded up. After killing these the robot will use five tentacles to create stone pillars, where after it starts shooting at you with a missile launcher.
The missiles don't travel all that fast nor are they fired often, nonetheless you will want to avoid staying in one place for too long. Hurry to the highest pillar and aim for any of the bomb trains positioned above the robot, the aiming process might take a second so be careful. Shoot down any of the trains using either the Blaster, Beam Reflexor (the reflected shots automatically aim for the target) or the Vulcan Fury (very fast firing rate).
Phase 2
The robot will move faster now, plus it adds one to each of its attack moves, so expect to see an extra shockwave, an extra move with its sword and an extra dark splitter. It still raises five pillars, which you can actually climb much easier by doing a high jump straight to the fourth, but the missiles are fired faster than before. Shoot down another bomb train to deal more damage.
Phase 3
the last phase and its a bit quicker again. This time it uses two swords which means faster shockwaves. When it does the attack where it moves from left to right, it also uses the second sword here forcing you to jump higher. Everything else is the same otherwise, so proceed to shoot down the last bomb train and destroy the precursor robot.
After its destruction you will automatically enter a cutscene and after a short walk proceed with the next mission: "Reach Port via sewer".
