The Dark Eco Plant was a massively mutated Lurker plant located and also killed in Forbidden Jungle. It was somehow living inside the Temple, where its roots eventually took into some Dark Eco below it. After that it mutated into massive proportions. Its vines were growing all throughout the jungle, making it rather dangerous. As seen when Jak fights it, there are two small pots somewhere onto two vines. These two are obviously the origin of the abomination.

[edit] Battle

The Plant has two offensive attacks. First it’ll try to bite you when you are in range. Second it’ll release a series of Spiny Bugs, starting with one then two and finally three. After each bugs defeat it’ll show two leaves and move the head backwards. It is unknown why it would do that, as Jak could run up and punch it till it died.

The vines themselves were scattered through the jungle. They had a short area in which they could reach and strike victims. It is possible to be quick enough and hit it to make it retreat underground. But it’ll come back up within a few seconds though. If the player defeats the Dark Eco Plant boss then all of the vines in the forest will die.

• If you jump a few times on the dead Dark Eco Plant you can find a few Precursor Orbs.
• The Plant is entirely optional to defeat.
• If you get bitten by The Plant when you have only 1/3 health left, The Plant will throw Jak in the air, catch him in it's mouth (with a crunching sound) and then swallow Jak.
