The Blue Sage is the Sage of Blue Eco in Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy. He lives in Rock Village, though is kidnapped prior to the game's events, and isn't seen until Jak rescues him in Gol and Maia's Citadel where he was taken after being captured by the Dark Eco sages Gol and Maia Acheron.

HistoryEdit

The Precursor LegacyEdit

The Blue Sage, being the master of Blue Eco, is captured like the other Sages by Gol and Maia to power an ancient Precursor Robot that needed the power of all types of Eco to operate. Jak and Daxter's journey is lengthened due to his Warp Gate not being activated, as they have to traverse the Fire Canyon to reach Rock Village. When Jak, Daxter, Samos Hagai and Keira Hagai arrive there, they find the hut a mess, and the Sage gone.

The Blue Sage is rescued by Jak and Daxter in Gol and Maia's Citadel, and then uses his powers with the other Sages to break the forcefield surrounding the Robot and get the elevator door open. After the final battle, the Blue Sage thanks Jak for saving him and makes a note of his "amazing talent for channeling Eco", a quality of Jak's which is crucial to the plots of the following games.

CharacteristicsEdit

PersonalityEdit

The Blue Sage comes across as greatly eccentric, likely due to his exposure to Blue Eco, which contains the energy of motion. His rapid-fire manner of speech and excitable personality reflect the characteristics of the Eco he studies. Out of the four good Sages, the Blue appears the kindest, and the most appreciative of Jak's efforts in rescuing him.

AppearanceEdit

The Blue Sage wears wide brownish yellow pants, a blue vest and leather straps on his feet. On his head he wears a large overturned bowl, with several antennae sticking out. This would appear to somehow conduct Blue Eco's energy, though this is unknown. The bowl is connected to a small barrel on his left wrist by a tube. His Blue Eco is channeled through a metal staff with a glowing blue glass ball on the end, which he carries with him. He wears a monocle, and sports a lightning-shaped white mustache.

AbilitiesEdit

The Blue Sage is the master of Blue Eco. While the full extent of his powers is unknown, it is known that his powers combined with the other Sages could create Light Eco.
