The blind drone is a racing weapon used in the sport Combat Racing in Jak X: Combat Racing. Similar to the Land Mine, the blind drone will destroy any racers upon contact. The difference being that the drone moves backwards along the track, in a fairly straight way. It looks like a metallic disc, suspended in the air by a beam of electricity and makes a loud buzzing sound as it operates. Said buzzing sound is one clue to looking out for these, as is the bright electricity, though one can also see them move on the minimap represented by a red dot.

While technically useful on smaller sections of the track, the fact the drone moves means it is possible for it to end up on a wide section and become useless. Therefore it is only useful on certain tracks, specifically those in the much tighter city tracks. If possible use it with an enemy behind you for a guaranteed kill, unless said racer is an experienced human driver. This is because the blind drone will not launch immediately when used, it stays behind your car for a split second, emitting the loud buzzing sound. This is the cue for any player behind you to get out of the way, similarly it the same goes for the player if an enemy uses it in front of him. Can only be used in Circuit Race.
