The air train is a transport vehicle commonly used by the Krimzon Guard and the Freedom League to reach far-off locations like the Metal Head Nest, the Dig Site, the Weapons Factory or the wasteland. They appear only in Jak II and Jak 3.

DescriptionEdit

The standard transport vehicle used by the Haven City military. It commonly is used to drop soldiers into combat zones or transport people from Haven to far away locations. To use it, passengers are required to carry an air train Security Pass. An air train can be found at the Port and apparently can be used by anyone as long as they have the security pass.

DesignEdit

It resembles a large blocky vehicle, with two pairs of wings on the side, engine boosters and some precursor writing. It only has windows on the front size, which is slanted for better aerodynamics. It has a hatch which opens upwards on the back of the vehicle. In Jak II the air train is painted a Krimzon Guard red, while in Jak 3 it's a Freedom League blue.

AppearancesEdit

• It can be found standard at the Port.
• If used to visit the Dig site or Weapons Factory it's located at a landing platform.
• Count Veger used an air train to drop Jak into the wasteland.
• Several guards where dropped off during the mission 'Protect Kor and Kid'.
• A large amount of air trains are encountered dropping off guards at the Water Slums during the mission 'Get Seal Piece at Water Slums'.
• Two air trains appear in Haven Forest, dropping off Hover Guards in the mission 'Protect Samos in Haven Forest'.

TriviaEdit

• It is unknown who or what drives the Air Train, but it may have preset coordinates.
• The writing on the side of the Air Train reads "Sophia."
